TERE DAR PAR SANAM – BE MY LOVE

Flashback to Bollywood in 1993 and you’re likely to reminisce about soulful melodies and beautiful lyrics taking you to another time and space. The song Tere Dar Par Sanam sung by Kumar Sanu in the film Phir Teri Kahaani Yaad Aaye was one of the biggest songs during that time & continues to be a favourite. For singer Rumman Chowdhury this song meant even more, “Tere Dar Par Sanam has been very close to my heart since childhood as I had been exposed to this song growing up in the 90s. Sir Kumar Sanu had sung the track very beautifully and in my mind it is flawless. The main reason I chose to reproduce this track was my emotional attachment to the song and the memories of the those golden days which puts a smile on all our faces.” Being a New Yorker, Rumman’s passion for music and introducing a new generation to this song led him to tie up with fellow musicians Mamun Sarker and Malayasia based Rapper, Harvinth Skin.
